About Us

Integrated Initiatives for Community Empowerment (IICEP) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered in 2013 in Kenya under the Ministry of National Heritage. IICEP seeks to build communities that are resilient through peace building initiatives and is driven
by a collective mission to harness resources within and without. Our programs include but are not limited to Peace & Conflict Resolution within communities, Capacity Building for Youth and Women, religious leaders and institutions. Leveraging Madrassas for Peace.Targets maalims ( religious teachers in madrassas) with a view to enriching the madrassah curicula with themes of peace.

Youth & Women Mentorship.

Mentoring youth and women at community levels to take on leadership roles in implementation of grassroots P/CVE.

Promoting Peace Through Arts & Sports.

Enhancing the capacity of youth to make informed choices and encourage them to promote peace through arts and sporting activities.

Addressing alternatives to non-violence, religious tolerance and shunning extremism and general negative influence on youth through religion.

Capacity Building on Peace & Conflict Resolution.

Offering non-violent conflicts resolution and leadership skills, targeting youths, religious leaders, women and law enforcement agencies
